When it comes to great network marketing businesses, it is essential that you sell a product or a service. There is no other way to gain success and you’d better be sure that it’s never easy to convince someone else to sell it for you. Now that we are into sales talk, there is one other thing I would like to mention: you will have to deal with sales every step of the way, no doubt about it. Remember that when it comes to network marketing, everything you do must have a sales appeal: your ideas, your proposals, your qualities, and most of all, yourselves.
In business, there are three types of people: the ones who make things happen, people who wait for things to happen and those who don’t even understand what’s going on around them.
FIRST CHALLENGE – ‘IT’S JUST TOO HARD’
Who said that building a network marketing business would be easy? This may be the worst challenge of any beginner entrepreneur, seeking to become rich over night or to find a fast and easy way to achieve profits. It’s unbelievable how many people (otherwise intelligent ones) continue to hope that a wonder that will make them rich will soon happen, with zero efforts.
The strange thing is that no person who wants to win a sports contest or learn how to play an instrument thinks that this will happen without commitment, competitively or preparedness. When it comes to money, many businessmen think that a simple trick will be enough to settle for the rest of their lives.
• Important achievements are only possible if you are completely committed and if you work hard.
• Whoever thinks otherwise, it’s wrong!
SECOND CHALLENGE: ‘I’LL JUST WAIT FOR A WHILE AND SEE HOW MY BUSINESS GROWS’
This is the classic attitude of people who decide to let others do their job, while they wait to see what happens. Unfortunately, in the network marketing world, this is an attitude that leads you to sure failure. Taking risks is necessary if you want to be the owner of a solid business. If you want to go over the fear of difficulties, fear from taking chances, the fear of dealing with rejection, all you need is a strong motivation!
THIRD CHALLENGE: BAD INFLUENCE
Every time you try to do something in network marketing, there are hundreds of persons ready to explain you why you should not do this and how you should do it. If you don’t have a strong conviction that what you are doing is the right thing and if you don’t understand the failure psychology and the envy behind your critics, it’s very easy to become discouraged, especially if you are in the beginning.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t say that you shouldn’t listen to people with experience or learn from good advices. What I mean is that before you get blocked by any negative influences, just check the real competency in the domain of the person who tries to explain things; 9 of 10 cases, the person has no idea about what he’s talking about!
CONCLUSION
This time, instead of giving you advice about how to do your business, how to take decisions or how to communicate, I just want to you to take a minute and reflect upon your actions. Just think about the things you have learned so far, about your abilities and your visions and answer to the following question: Am I really giving the best I can? Who knows, the answer might be the step that will take you further in your quest for success!
